Green Climber in Action | Clearing 50 Acres for Koala Leaf Plantation (Queensland)
Published at : 23 Dec 2025
At Koala Services Queensland, the team manages eucalyptus plantations that supply fresh leaf to koala habitats across South East Queensland. In this video, they’re preparing a new 50-acre plantation — mowing, spraying, and setting up irrigation to grow eucalyptus trees for future koala feed.
Thick blady grass and rough terrain make it impossible for tractors and zero-turn mowers to get through — but the Green Climber remote-control mower handles it with ease. Its powerful tracks and mulching capability let the crew safely clear heavy growth, reduce manual labour, and prepare the ground for irrigation and planting.
Featured equipment:
- Green Climber remote-control mower
- Gruffalo mulching head (for saplings and small trees up to 200 mm)
- Altoz zero-turn mower (for follow-up finishing work)
Project: Koala Leaf Plantation – South East Queensland
