EXCLUSIVE: Unveiling the Elusive, First Ever, "Fully Chinese-made" Motherboard That You Can't Buy
Published at : 23 Dec 2025
First look at the elusive GM7-2602-02 motherboard, first ever fully Chinese-made "gaming" motherboard supporting 32GB native memory.
The motherboard was released end of January 2024 and is claimed to be the first all-Chinese gaming motherboard. No easy way to buy it from outside China. Lack of documentation and support is given, so we'll explore everything blindly, with zero documentation.
if you want me to run specific version of Linux, have suggestions for the ethernet driver or need the BIOS dump, please leave a comment and let me know.
SHORT UPDATE: I was able to compile and install Linux Kernel 6.7.4 on Debian 12, but the ethernet ports are still unusable. Also there are no ARM (aarch64) ISO images for Kylin, so not sure what the manufacturer of this motherboard is talking about. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
