EASY Ring Toss Game

Really easy wine bottle ring toss game to entertain during summer nights!
Its super simple, and can be even more simple than what I did.

2 8 foot boards and some scrap plywood in the end about $25 each. I make two of these for a scavenger hunt my wife hosted in her home county.

I used dado and rabbet joints with a table saw. This was totally overboard and could be done with a circular saw, miter saw... heck just use a handsaw! Screws or nails! If you do have a miter saw you most likely can do dados and rabate/rabbet joinery, I was planning on this but ran out of time.

The rings were a different story, They weren't fun but that was because I had to make 18 of them. 6 is probably enough to enjoy with friends at home. That wouldn't have been a big deal. They are made form 3 strand nylon rope. Unwind the rope strands and you can wind those strands back themselves to make 3 strand nylon rings. Hot melt glue sealed the ends together!

I've since made a simple jig for a trim router that would cut the time of the joinery in half. Subscribe to eventually see that!

I'll eventually turn one of these 2 into a planter. The other one I keep practicing on my patio, I'll be able to win some of those fair or carnival games for sure now!
