Dream Build | Carrera Single Speed

Components:
Frame: 1980s Carrera Steel (Columbus SLX / Campagnolo Dropouts)
Drivetrain: Stronglight 48t 144BCD Chainring + Token 170 Cranks
Wheelset: Kinlin rims laced with Snowflake weave spokes
Rubber: 23c tires for that classic slim profile
Cockpit: Custom-sanded raw alloy adapter & Bontrager Evoke saddle
Brakes: Shimano Ultegra Rim Brake

Some issues I ran into was the threaded-to-threadless adapter not fitting into the headset. Some filing later, and I had decided to remove the black paint completely to fit the color scheme. After sanding, the fitment was still very tight, to a point where I suspect the expansion joint wouldn't properly overlap when torqued.
The chainring and cranks had half a millimeter overlap, so I had to file down the crank until I achieved a flush fit. The dropout limiting screw on one side was bent and stripped. This required some force to reslot the head and remove the bent part preventing the screw from turning.
