Chubb Bankers safe lost keys

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

At Key Elements Safe Crackers, we specialise in opening locked safes and vaults.

This Chubb Bankers, also known as a Chubb Isolator mechanisum, is also used on Chatwood Milner safes, such as Chatwood Milner Monarch safes used in the USA

As you can see, the difference between a tin box you can purchase from the larger DIY shops is no match for a commercial safe. These tin boxes normally don't have any real protection against a simple attack. A commercial safe has an insurace assessment as is known in the UK as Grade, Modern safes have a lable showing that grade.

Grade 0 is the lowest up until the highest grade 6/7, normally found on a safes, but a vault can go up to a grade 13 on the modern list. Older safe, such as the one in the video, are adopted on the list. As they pre date testing and are known to be of good security. They were given a place within the modern list, also known as the AIS list (Association of Insurace Surveyors)

In my own opinion The Chubb Bankers safe is one of there best, it has glass plates that is broken set of extra devices caller relockers or Anti Explosive devices (AEDs) if these get set off it locks the safe up even further.

For all the builders, cutting the hinges on these safes will not open it, this dosnt work on 99 percent of graded safes, and the tin box units remember are not secure. A lot of the older safes were built better than modern safes, in my own opinion.

The highest grade vault I worked on predated the modern safe list, and the equivalent grade would have be 17 (and modern grades don't go that high)
