Caught in a Heavy Rain - I Took Shelter in an Abandoned Cabin - Part 2

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

The heavy rain that has been pouring for days never stopped, and my drinking water completely ran out. To survive in these harsh wilderness conditions, I used a simple bushcraft technique to collect and purify rainwater. While struggling against the cold and the relentless rainfall, I repaired the abandoned cabin’s roof and walls, trying to make the inside more livable, warmer, and safer for the night.

While exploring the area around the cabin, I found wild animal skulls and spotted four deer wandering through the forest. The sound of the rain, the howling wind, and the mysterious atmosphere of the woods made this experience truly unforgettable.

In this episode, you will see how I survived under nonstop rain, how I turned rainwater into drinkable water, the repairs I made to improve the cabin as a shelter, and the incredible wildlife moments I encountered. This is a true bushcraft, survival, and wilderness camping story—facing nature’s challenges alone in an abandoned cabin during an endless storm.
