Building a Pressure Pot Sandblaster from an Old Compressor
Published at : 23 Dec 2025
In this video, I build a pressure pot sandblaster using parts from an old compressor and materials I found in my basement.
The project includes cleaning and rebuilding the air tank, fabricating a new frame, assembling fittings, and testing the system.
This build is about experimentation, problem-solving, and learning what works and what doesn’t.
A pressure pot sandblaster works by pressurizing a sealed abrasive container.
Compressed air forces the blasting media through a hose and nozzle at high speed,
making it suitable for surface cleaning, preparation, and finishing.
