Bikes of The Traka: winners, obscure makers, engineers & more at Europe’s mega gravel event

From global brands to garage tinkerers, there were all sorts of bikes being ridden and raced at distances from 100K to 560K in Girona at The Traka. On the day of the 200K event, I took a stroll around the expo, behind the podium and inside the finishing chute to talk to riders about their bikes and take a close look at the details of the machines that traversed the rowdy Spanish courses.
