https://electricbikereport.com/aventon-abound-lr-review/The Abound LR is Aventon’s second-generation cargo e-bike. It’s been completely redesigned to improve stiffness, but it also includes big upgrades in terms of security.
The bike features Aventon’s custom ACU (Aventon Control Unit) module with 4G connectivity, giving users the ability to track and control the bike’s location using GPS and geofencing. It can also tune the motor’s output, eject the battery, and lock the Abound’s center-mounted kickstand.
To move weight effectively, the bike also includes a highly responsive 750W rear-hub motor with a torque sensor. With three intuitive power levels, the motor delivers more power when the rider applies more pressure to the pedals to ensure the bike—and its cargo—stay firmly under control.
Additionally, the bike’s smooth, gravity-cast frame includes a system of internal reinforcement. The original version of the bike suffered from some wobble when carrying a heavy load, but this new approach gives the Abound LR a sturdy, stable ride.
