Are I2C Level Shifters Really Too Slow?

In this video, I'll be testing the assertion that I2C logic level shifters are too slow for LEDs. I'll compare an I2C shifter against the WLED recommended shifter with two different types of LEDs; clockless and those that have both a data and clock line.
