AMAZING Vintage Radio Cabinet Trash to Treasure Furniture Restoration

In this video, I'm doing my best to save this 1948 Viking Radio Cabinet from its seemingly inescapable fate. This piece had tons of water damage, flaking & failing finish, dark stains, missing knobs, torn and peeling veneer, dirt & grime, and a bit of a musty smell.

I clean this top to bottom, fix structural issues, add new glue blocks, repair veneer and add a new veneer sheet to the top, remove the old finish, and stain and seal the cabinet. I also make new custom dial knobs from a chunk of walnut!

It may not be perfect in the end, but I cannot deny that piece has definitely make a 180 and is absolutely beautiful now!
