In Episode 4 of our Alaska Bucket Trip, we take on one of the most incredible trails of the entire journey—20 miles of sand, water crossings, tight brush, and raw beauty leading us to the legendary Knik Glacier. Along the way, we battle flooded sections, break out the chainsaw, and navigate deep river crossings—all for the chance to reach a glacier few people ever get this close to.
The trail pushes us, rewards us, and ends with one of the most unforgettable campsites we’ve ever experienced—parked on a remote beach, staring straight at the ice. But the adventure doesn’t end there. We continue deeper into the backcountry, explore even closer to the glacier, and finish the day with snow, mud, and another surprise recovery.
