A Shelter in the Air

🌲 Deep inside a quiet forest beside a large lake, I built an elevated A-frame survival shelter suspended nearly 5 meters above the ground between two tall, perfectly parallel trees.
This unusual height keeps the shelter safe from flooding, ground moisture, and wildlife, while offering a calm, open view across the water.

🪵 Using only bamboo and natural forest wood, I crafted a strong A-frame structure with traditional bushcraft methods. The angled frame distributes weight evenly, creating a stable and reliable shelter despite being suspended high above the forest floor.

🌴 Wild palm leaves fully cover the shelter, providing natural insulation, weather protection, and camouflage. From a distance, the structure blends seamlessly into the forest canopy and is difficult to detect.

🔥 This video shows the entire survival process — selecting the right trees, lifting materials to height, securing the bamboo frame, and finishing the shelter using only primitive techniques. No modern tools, no metal, just skill and planning.

🏕️ Inside the shelter, I create a simple elevated living space for resting, observing the lake, and surviving quietly in nature. The sounds of water, wind, and forest life create a peaceful yet intense survival atmosphere.
