A Shelter Hanging Over a Dry Creek
Published at : 23 Dec 2025
🌲 Deep inside a dense bamboo forest, I built a rectangular wooden survival shelter suspended between two massive fallen trees stretching across opposite hillsides.
Beneath the shelter lies a dry creek bed, creating a dramatic and risky location where balance, structure, and precision are essential.
🪵 Using only natural forest wood, I carefully shaped beams and supports to form a strong rectangular shelter resting securely on the two fallen tree trunks. This elevated position keeps the shelter dry, hidden, and protected from ground moisture and wildlife.
🔥 This video shows the full bushcraft survival process — selecting the trees, transporting wood across uneven terrain, locking the structure into place, and transforming a dangerous natural crossing into a livable wilderness shelter. No modern tools, no metal, only traditional survival skills.
🏕️ Inside the shelter, I create a simple survival living space for resting, cooking, and staying overnight in the forest. The quiet bamboo surroundings, open space below, and suspended position create a tense yet peaceful off-grid experience.
🌿 If you enjoy bushcraft, primitive shelters, bamboo forest survival, elevated builds, and realistic wilderness living, this video is made to keep you watching until the end.
