An aging woodworker lost to time meticulously hand carves heirloom quality goods using old-world techniques, hand tools, and wood she harvests herself from her rural homestead.
For 51 years, Suzanne Lupien, a 70-year-old master woodcarver has practiced the art of spoon carving; felling trees, splitting logs, shaping green wood, and crafting functional, heirloom-quality wooden spoons entirely by hand.
