The boat was up on the piling for about 48 hours and on an angle note the waterline on the wall in the galley leading g to the engine room on the left, as soon as the boat was off the piling there wasn’t that much water maybe up to the first step in the galley and it was pumped out quickly ,so not much damage, I did have all the diesel engines pickled , but the guy I had do it , clearly didn’t do a good enough job.
Some estimates of some of the work to be done.
Replace 3 stern / aft salon windows with canvas and isenglass- Scottie’s canvas- $2850
Refinish teak brightwork by bow railings and toe sill- $3000 juniors boat painting
Rebuild two Detroit diesel’s in place and remove and install two rebuilt Detroit Allison transmissions $44,285 good for 10 years plus
One generator set would have to be rebuilt the other needs a new starter
Martin marine for the diesel / gen generator work
Two rudders need to be dropped and taken to L and M metals to be be straightened - $650 to $850 each- L&M metals
Bimini/ Sunbrella top rolled up in storage under aft seating- took down before storm
table in aft salon is electric and raises and lowers via a switch from cocktail height to dining height
red cushions in the staterooms are for the aft seating area
cost to remove faux teak and prep and paint with awl grip $2500 Junior boat painting
