To mark my first year of Gunpla building, I created the immensely popular ν Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray.
While referencing numerous existing builds, I incorporated my own unique details. I also included newly added details from the PERFECT GRADE version scheduled for release next year.
This is a masterpiece over 500 hours in total production time, so please enjoy it.
【Building Concept】
1. To preserve the essence of the ν Gundam, I avoided excessive changes to the color scheme or part shapes. I focused on enhancing fine details while maximizing the use of the original kit's design. Additionally, I added volume to each armored section using plastic sheets to enhance the overall contrast and three-dimensional effect.
2. To lend credibility to the ν Gundam's omnidirectional monitor system, we added details simulating sub-cameras and sensors on all surfaces—top, bottom, left, and right. Furthermore, to match Amuro Ray's exceptional piloting skills, we incorporated numerous sub-verniers for attitude control and other functions.
3. The Fin Funnels, the ν Gundam's primary weapon, had structural integrity issues during display, so we created reinforcement parts.
