1970 Monte Carlo, finalizing metal & chassis paint, highlighting sheet metal and gap work

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

On this video we are finishing up on the 1970 Monte Carlo in the shop and doing a walk around of the complete sheet metal. We open the video with the car dissassembled on the Frame table with all bolt on parts removed. We highlight some of the gap work that was completed between this video and the last one we had on this car. Once the intro is complete we install the main body on a rotisserie and the full frame on a hanging platform, so we are able to spray both of them with some Epoxy primer and chassis paint. Once we have both the body and frame in chassis paint we start the assembly process with bolting the main body to the factory chassis. Then we install the doors, fenders, hood, trunk and rear bumper along with all smaller end caps. The video concludes with a walk around of the car with the sheet metal complete. The car is now ready for the owner to pick it up and take it to a body shop.
