Tree stumps can be very annoying and difficult to remove, so we decided to build our own tree stump destroyer.
This is a DIY project built in our workshop using various parts we had on hand. The axle comes from a small children’s ATV, the wheels and rims are also from an ATV, but slightly larger. The cutting disc has a diameter of 360 mm, and the whole machine is powered by a 15 HP gasoline engine.
The electric motor used for adjustments is from a wheelchair.
When we started the project, the weather was great, but it took a long time to complete. Unfortunately, we didn’t finish before the snowfall, so we only managed to do one quick test. In spring, we’ll try to record a separate video with a more thorough test on larger tree stumps.
Let us know what you think of the project, and don’t forget to subscribe for more DIY builds and updates!
